Type 2 - Type 1

Very pleased with all aspects of the order. The explanation of what was required & the speed of delivery was excellent. Only small concern is how water tight it is at the type 2 socket to plug ?. Other than that very pleased all round.

EV Adapter Type 2 to Type 1 - Does what its supposed to

I bought this in anticipation of getting my new car (ordered early March). As car was delayed (as most are), it wasnt until July it finally arrived. I plugged the adapter in and left it charging overnight. In morning I noticed the charging unit wasnt lit up. On inspection it had tripped the fuse switch. Tried again and after 5 minutes it killed my charger and burnt it out. It didnt fit very snuggly either.The sellers were brill and I got a refund. Mine might have been a rare faulty unit, I dont know.So be careful when using an adapter.I originally had a tethered charger so it wouldnt be stolen. Without the adapter Id have had to have a new charger anyway. This has now happened. So just be aware of the issues you may (or may not) encounter.

I took delivery of a new hybrid plug in car.Imagine my disappointment when my home charger wouldnt fit.After some research came across this adaptor. I ordered and next day it was delivered . I attached the adaptor which is solid and well built. and..it worked! also simple so straightforward!!!

This wonderful little adapter has saved me hundreds of pounds, I had a type 1 at home for a Nissan Leaf that I no longer owned. Instead of getting the cable changed to type 2 at the cost of hundreds of pounds I looked online for a cheaper solution and found this fantastic type 1 to type 2 adapter.It's sturdy, rugged and weatherproof and is easy and light to carry around in car and use anytime when needed.No issues at all so far, has worked flawlessly since purchase overall I am delighted and very happy with the purchase. The type one simply clicks into place and then you use the type 2 end on your EV and it begins to charge! 5 stars! ??????????
